Rasheed modern technology used to improve services for investors

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Industry is currently involved in applying modern information technology (IT) in its efforts to improve investors' services.

IT should currently accompany exportation and industrial production, Minister Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed said.

The Ministry has established a number of specialized technological centres in different industrial sectors within the framework of the national plan to improve industry in Egypt, the Minister added.

Rasheed also hailed the e-signature law and the attempts to establish an e-government.

Together they are providing a significant boost to Egypt's bid to establish an IT infrastructure.

Rasheed stressed the enhancement of comprehensive cooperation between the government, civil society institutions and business sectors.
