Fire causes one million SP loss in northeast Syria

A fire that broke out in a fuel container carrying 14 tons of gas oil in Qahtaniya town, near Hasaka has caused material damage totaling more than one million Syrian Pound.

The incident happened today when the container was trying to discharge its load in one of the petrol station in Qahtaniya.

The petrol station was lacking the vocational safety measures that increased the harm caused through the fire.

Local sources in the region called to implement such measures and industrial security in these places and institutions.
