Al-Assad, Shara confers with Lebanese foreign minister

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday received Lebanese Foreign Minister Mahmoud Hammoud at al-Rawda Palace. Talks during the meeting dealt with the current developments in the region and bilateral issues.

Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara received Lebanese Foreign Minister Mahmoud Hamoud. Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the region, particularly in Iraq and in Palestine. Shara briefed Hamoud on the outcomes of his late visit to Egypt, Turkey and Iran. Both Ministers agreed on continuing consultation between them.
