New magazines licensed in Syria

Syria's Prime Minister Naji Otari on Monday issued several decisions providing to give license as to publish eight periodical magazines and prints dealing with various subjects.

There are some monthly magazines to be issued in Damascus in Arabic such as a social services, economic and scientific magazine named " al-Ma'moun" and another social and cultural magazine called "Ayyat." A third Economic magazine specialized in metals and valuable jewels is going to be quarterly in Damascus in Arabic.

There were also periodicals and social tourist newspaper, together with social and cultural magazines that would be published weekly in Damascus and Aleppo entitled the "negative and positive," "al-Nas " and "Al-Shamiyah Rose".

An information newspaper called "Sewar" is to be issued in Homs in Arabic.

Environment Friends Association is to be issued monthly in Damascus in Arabic besides a cultural magazine named "Human and the Environment."
