Spain backs political, just, lasting solution to Sahara conflict

Spanish Prime minister, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, said, here Tuesday, he is for "a political, just, lasting solution" to the Sahara conflict, that is "accepted by all parties."

Spain strongly support efforts to seek such a solution, Zapatero said at the UN General Assembly in New York, calling on all concerned parties to strive to "settle the conflict that has lasted for too long" through dialogue and negotiation under the UN auspices.
