Morocco, Mauritania have similar views on security and development issues, Official

Visiting Moroccan minister-delegate for foreign affairs and cooperation, Taieb Fassi Fihri, told the press, in Nouakchott Wednesday, Morocco and Mauritania have similar views on security and development issues.

The Moroccan official also underlined the Moroccan king willingness to promote cooperation with Mauritania. These statements were made following a meeting between Mauritanian president, Maaouya Ould Sid'Ahmed Taya, and Fihri who conveyed to the Mauritanian head of state a message from King Mohammed VI.

The meeting was attended by Mauritanian foreign minister, Mohamed Fal Ould Belal.
