Egypt and Peace in the Middle East

Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian National Council for Human Rights, Ahmad Kamal Abu al-Majd, called on the U.S. to shoulder its responsibilities as a main sponsor to the peace process in the region through acting seriously and efficiently to compel Israel to stop its aggressive practices against the Palestinian people and to commit itself to the international resolutions.

During his meeting with an American delegation headed by Deputy Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs, the American delegation said that the absence of peace in the region harms the innocent people.
