Information Minister highlights media role in enlightening people
Information Minister Ahmad al-Hasan Monday said Syria, seeks to boost media to be an advanced one, linked to issues of people and homelands.
In a lecture on " the Role of Media in enlightening people" in Damascus, Hasan stressed the importance of people's participation in the process of constructive dialogue which aim at enhancing the Syrian Media.
He pointed out to the role media plays in enlightening peoples through presenting new issues, images and ideas that suit our national and pan-Arab identity.
"Due to Syria's pan-Arab position, we should assume a big responsibility in the media field, and that demands us to work on building media factors that strengthen our political and cultural internal situation," Minister of Information said.
