Morocco's odds at Olympic games dim after loss to Portugal

Morocco's football Olympic side lost to Portugal on Sunday night, significantly reducing its chances for the coming rounds, after its scoreless draw against Costa Rica.

The team coach, Mustapha Madih, says the Moroccan squad is in a difficult situation and even a win in the coming match against Iraq might not help much, since qualification depends on the result of the Portugal-Costa Rica match.

Madih regretted the absence of some of the squad key players, like Jaouad Zairi who suffers a wound and Marwane Chamakh who was retained in France where he plays with Bordeaux team.
