Nabil Amre's leg amputated

Daughter of the former Palestinian minister of information Nabil Amre, who was injured in his right leg in an attack 10 days ago in his house in Ramullah stressed that his leg was amputated in a surgery in Germany.

Nirmin Amre said that: "my brother Marwan, who accompanies my father in Germany said that my father's leg was amputated." The charge de affairs of the Palestinian embassy in Jordan Ata Allah Kheiri said that it was announced earlier yesterday that Amre's leg was amputated. He explained " a German medical team carried out an operation for Nabil Amre and his leg was amputated at the knee level."

Amre was taken to Germany last Sunday to complete his medical treatment after he underwent a surgery in Amman the doctors said it was a success.
