20th visit exchange between Morocco's Southern provinces, Tindouf camps, Algeria, postponed
The 20th family visit exchange between the Moroccan Sahara-natives held against their will in the camps of Tindouf (southwestern Algeria) by the separatist movement Polisario, and their relatives in Laayoune (Moroccan southern province) was postponed by the UN human rights committee (UNHCR) until July 30.
The postponement is due to logistic difficulties resulting from the 48 hour delay in the 19th exchange's return flight, which took place Friday instead of Wednesday, said the bureau of coordination with MINURSO (French acronym for the UN mission in the Sahara).
