Iran and EU stand towards WMD

Chairman of the Expediency Council (EC) in Iran, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, has condemned the U.S. and European states' double standard policy towards Weapons of Mass Destructions issue and ignoring of the Israeli nuclear and chemical arsenal "which threatens all the world's security and stability."

In Friday prayers sermon, Rafsanjani stressed that the United Nations, United States and European states have to work and cooperate to prevent proliferation of WMDs particularly that they are the real producers of those weapons.

Rafsanjani stressed Iran's right to exploit the nuclear technology for peaceful purposes in agricultural, industrial and medical fields.
