Khatami calls for EU role in ME issues

Iranian President, Mohammed Khatami, has stressed the necessity for activating the European Union and Austria's role in dealing with the international and Middle East issues.

Receiving Director of the Austrian President's Bureau, Helmut Tourgh, Khatami in Tehran warned against the dangerous repercussions of using the mass-destruction weapons and depending on force, assassination and occupation policy, as substitute for dialogue.
