Al-Salafeyah group claims responsibility for Algeria's electricity generation complex

"Al-Salafeyah group for call and fighting" claimed responsibility for an explosion which targeted al-Hame for electricity production and distribution on June 21 in Algiers and resulted in wounding several persons. Official sources at that time said following the incident that the incident was accidental.

A statement by the banned group on the Internet said that its members made their utmost efforts to avoid human losses by alleviating the explosives which was presumed to be doubled for bombarding the station as a whole " but in their attempt to keep the lives of Muslims they confined to half of the amounts of explosive."
