The Kuwaiti authorities started the implementation of " the imprint " system upon entering the country in the framework of new security measures aiming at controlling Kuwait's entrances and discovering persons sneaking to it.

Simultaneously, the crossings department have recently taken new measures stated not to permit certain women into the country for a visit via immediate visa which is given at the airport with facilitations to enter the country approved recently for the citizens of 34 countries, only if she is accompanied by her brother, husband or one of her sons.

The measures also state to reject the entry of women if they are alone or with a group of women, excluding business women who prove that within official documents.

Security sources said that these measures are taken after it is noted that certain women had entered the country and was found out they do not have accommodation nor money enough for their living. A matter which raised fears of resorting to practices forbidden by the law.
