Some 25 soldiers were wounded as their bus collided in Kuwait

A spokesman for the American army announced yesterday that some 25 American soldiers were injured as their bus collided near an air base to the north of Kuwait.

Randal Bokom explained that the accident took place on Monday near Ali al-Salem air base which is used by forces that fall under the command of joint American- Kuwaiti leadership, situated 70 Km to the north west of the city of Kuwait.

He said that four of the soldiers were admitted to the hospital of the Kuwaiti armed forces and their situation is stable, while tewnty one of them were treated in a local camp.

Some 25,000 American soldiers are continuously stationed in Kuwait with between 2000 to 4000 soldiers that cross daily in their way to Iraq.
