Egyptian parties committee refuses the Pharos Party
The parties committee at the Shoura council rejected the foundation of " Maser al-Um " ( Egypt the mother) party which is known as the Pharos party because of its proclamation of Egypt's Pharos and its rejection of its Arab identity.
A source in the council explained yesterday that the reasons behind the rejection is under preparations in order to announce it and handover the secretary of the founder of the party a copy of it.
On the other hand, the lawyer of the party Samy Harak said he was verbally notified that the committee refused the foundation of the party because its program states to make a seperation between the state and the religion, adding that the reason of rejection is the party's program conflict with the first article of the constitution which state that the "identity of Egypt is Arab."
The parties affairs committee is composed of the chairman of the Shoura council and the ministers of justice, the Interior and the people's assembly affairs and three advisors from the judicial commissions who are not affiliating to political parties.
