Cotton exports reach $ 91 million

Some 391,000 kantars of cotton worth $91 million have been exported since the beginning of the season to date, chairman o Egypt's General Authority for Cotton Arbitration and Assays, Abdul Halim AL-Attar announced yesterday.

Last week 13,000 kantars of cotton were exported, which means that almost 60 % of the export quota has been fulfilled, AL-Attar said.

On prices of Egyptian cotton to northern Europe, AL- Attar said they fell slightly this week.
