Eye on Egypt's financial reform policy
Egypt is now embarking on a new stage of financial reform policy designed to offsetting the state budget deficit and rationalizing public spending.
Minister of Finance Medhat Hassanein recently pointed out that this policy is not restricted to taxation and customs reform but rather covers a host of main axes for developing public resources, readjusting public economic organizations, upgrading efficiency of managing domestic and foreign debts as well as developing the National Investment Bank (NIB).
