Syrian -Ukraine joint Financial meetings

Finance Minister Mohammad al-Hussein and Ukrainian Minister of Industrial Policy Oleksandr Neustroyev cochaired meetings of the Syrian-Ukrainian joint committee which was held Monday.

Al-Hussein stressed Syria's care to develop the economic and commercial relations between Syria and Ukraine.

He voiced hop that the committee will come to recommendations that enhance the joint work and encourage establishment of joint investment projects.

Al-Hussein underlined the necessity of forming a committee to follow up the implementation of agreements and to find solutions to facilitate the commercial exchange between the two countries.

He noted that Syria is interested in establishing joint investment projects particularly in field of cements and fertilizers.

For his part, Neustroyev pointed out to the existence of appropriate chances for both countries to reach to tangible agreements particularly in the field of exploring oil, gas, electricity and infrastructure.

The committee which includes representatives of all sectors, will discus four agreements due to be signed at the end of the committee meetings.
