Originally published

The 15th Arab National Conference expressed the complete solidarity with Syria and Lebanon in the face of the pressures and threats directed against them in an attempt to affect their national option to defend the main causes of the Arab Nation.

In its final statement issued today, the conference condemned the so-called Syria's Accountability Act stressing that it is a part of the US-Israeli attempts to affect Syria's national principles.

The statement rejected the so-called the Greater Middle East project and warned against its dangers on the nation destiny. "The project aims to insert the Zionist entity in the region, drop the Arab identity of the region and to relinquish the Arab legitimate rights to liberate the occupied Arab territories and the Palestinian people to return to their homeland."

"The reform the US claims to support is no more than a political pretext for interference in the Arab people's destiny and recourses," the statement said.

The statement expressed the complete support to the Palestinian people' strife to liberate their lands, restore their usurped rights, return home and to establish their an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

It also expressed the hope over success of the Iraqi people to end the US occupation and to elect their government and representatives without foreign interference.

The statement stressed commitment to the national firm principles towards the Arab-Israeli struggle which call for the complete Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Golan, Shebaa Farms, the Palestinian territories and for returning the legitimate rights to their legitimate owners.

" The only solution to the Arab development issue is through the achievement of an Arab economic integration that activates the joint agreements and treaties signed among the Arab countries,'' The statement said.

The statement rejected any kind of normalization of relations with the "Zionist enemy" calling for boycotting the US and Israeli goods.
