The UAE company "Tech Access," specialized in information technologies (IT) opened early this week a regional bureau in Casablanca to meet the needs of the North African region in terms of information technology services.

The company decided to open an office in Morocco after a significant increase of investments in north African countries especially, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Mauritania which "are emerging as key markets in the IT sector," "Tech Access" executives told a press conference Tuesday.

In addition, North Africa is increasingly interested in industries such as telecommunications, energy and banking, while demand for equipment and software will continue to grow in the region, they said.

They added that the company chose Morocco because of its political stability and geographic location, pointing out that their regional bureau will also extend technical follow-up, technical assistance, marketing and training services.

"Tech Access" has sales of US $30 million and operates essentially in Gulf countries.
