Syria highlights European Parliamentarians role in ME policy making

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouq Al-Shara on Thursday stressed the role that could be played by European Parliamentarians to formulate policies on the Middle East.
In a meeting with a German Parliamentary delegation headed by Volker Ruhe, Head of Foreign Relations Committee at the German Bundestage, al-Shara clarified these policies had to reflect historical ties between Arabs and Europe and fulfill the mutual benefit as it should be an example for equal and fruitful relations among states.
