London: our embassy in Damascus has been closed since one week
The British government announced yesterday that its embassy in Damascus closed its doors before the public one week ago because of security fears.
A spokeswoman for the British foreign office said that the embassy closed its doors before the public since February 10th, but added she can not give any other details pertaining to its missions abroad. She explained that "the embassy still assumes its work. It is only not open for the public."
