British Spokesman denies change of principled attitude towards Syria
A Spokesman for the British Prime Ministry Wednesday denied the British government has changed its policy towards Syria, in reference to the latest declarations made by British Premier Tony Blair.
In a statement, the spokesman stressed that his country is committed to the positive dialogue policy with Syria adding that what Blair announced in his press conference on Dec.15 wouldn't go beyond the policy adopted by London towards Damascus based on dialogue. "It is natural to be some points of difference vis-a-vis some issues, and this is possible in any dialogue," the spokesman added.
