Lahoud renews Lebanon's commitment to just ME peace

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud stressed Tuesday that Lebanon's call for the implementation of the international resolutions to achieve peace in the Middle East doesn't negate Lebanon's commitment to its legitimate right to fight and restore the occupied lands in the South and the usurped rights.

He underlined that Lebanon will never change its strategic stances under any pressure or threat, asserting Lebanon's commitment to its rights, ensured by the international community and the resolutions issued by the UN Security Council.

He pointed out that stability in Lebanon was the outcome of the strategic options adopted in coordination with Syria, the thing that gave Lebanon strength to face the lastest developments.
