German citizen murder is criminal case

"An official source at the Public Relations Department of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said with regard to what was published on 5/12/2003 on the murder of a German citizen at a residential quarter in Muscat Governorate, investigations have led to important facts which helped uncover the obscurity of this incident which he cited as absolutely criminal and not as what has been published by some foreign media," Oman's ONA reported yesterday.

It added "He noted that the ROP would shortly disclose the circumstances of this case after completing investigation which is currently underway in preparation to refer the case to the court."
