Saharan NGOs denounce Polisario abuses
A group of human rights advocates from the Sahara (Southern Moroccan provinces) has denounced what it described as the "inhuman practices" by the separatist movement "Polisario" against Moroccans sequestered in Tindouf (Southwestern Algeria).
At a meeting, in Laayoune Wednesday, on the occasion of the 55th International Human Rights Day, these NGOs urged the international community to intervene in order to put an end to the suffering endured, for decades, by these Moroccan Saharan populations held against their will by the Algerian-backed guerrilla movement.
