Lebanese army chief for co-operation with the Syrian army

Chief of the Lebanese Army, Major General Michael Sulieman, has stressed the continuation of the coordination and cooperation with Syrian Army "who offered expensive sacrifices to preserve Lebanon's sovereignty."

In a speech delivered in Beirut on Thursday on the occasion of Lebanon's National Day ( Independence ), He said that "the dangers and difficulties which Lebanon has been exposed to, were due to the Zionist entity which had occupied parts of Lebanon for nearly twenty years."
