Arab Judicial Forum 2003 in Manama

September 15-17 will be the date of the Arab Judicial Forum, to be held this year on the theme 20th Century judicial systems.

The event, organized by the Bahraini government under the aegis of the US government, the forum will focus on four main topics of judicial selection, ethics and training, the role f justice in human rights protection and the efficiency of procedures and cooperation in the field, the US embassy in Rabat said in a release.

The encounter is part of the Middle East partnership Initiative (MEPI) launched by US president George W. Bush, aimed at involving the private sector, NGOs, civil society and other countries in economic, political and education reforms in the Middle East, the release goes.
