Arab writers and poets meet in Algeria

Algeria will be hosting December 19-27 the 22nd conference of Arab writers, to be followed by the Arab poetry festival. The conference features two round tables on "Arab literature translation and globalization challenges" and "the child's place in war literature." The Algerian writers union president said he is expecting some 100 writers.

The writers conference is the third Algeria will hold after those of 1975 and 1983.
