1.5 million pounds to develop pyramids area

The tourist and archaeological site at Egypt's Pyramids area will see extensive development works at investments worth L.E. 1 million.

Al-Batran squatter settlements were turned into a clean place through non-governmental efforts at a cost of L.E. 500,OOO.The area was re-planned and afforested, said Giza Governor Mahmoud Abul-Leil during a tour of the area.

The governor appropriated a sum of L.E. 150, 000 to beautify the western Sphinx street.
