Moussa: Arab League effectiveness depends on Arab leaders will
All members of the Arab League are keen to maintain the existence of the pan-Arab organization, said the AL Chief on his arrival back in Cairo from Beirut following a Mid-East tour.
"All the Arab leaders I met during several recent tours of Arab countries have confirmed the need to support and develop the performance of the league which could not be abandoned or replaced by another Mid-East body," Amr Moussa said.
" It is not a matter of new ideas, it is a matter of Arab political will, " he added, referring to what is needed to rehabilitate the AL.
Asked about a visit to Kuwait, Moussa said the program of his visits to Arab countries is open, adding he would visit Greece on Sunday to take part in meetings of Arab-European dialogue.
