Ethiopia closes its embassy in Eritrea

Ethiopia announced yesterday it intends to close its embassy in the Eritrea's capital, Asmara to limit spending.

An official at the Ethiopian foreign ministry said that the closure of the embassy in Asmara will take place on January 31st for mere economic reasons. He explained that "there are no political reasons any way to close the embassy" in Eritrea which had a severe war with Ethiopia.
