Kuwait for increasing OPEC's oil production

Kuwait's minister of information Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who is acting minister of oil, yesterday announced Kuwait's support for increasing the production of the OPEC states of oil by 2 million barrels daily.

In statements yesterday in Kuwait, the Kuwaiti minister said that intensive consultation are being made between OPEC member states to meet the needs of the oil market. He indicated that Kuwait's production capacity does not, at the meantime, permit a great increase in its production share.
