Al-Assad meets with Samaha, Khouri on Syria, lebanon issues

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday in Damascus received the former Lebanese minister Michael Samaha on bilateral issues of concern both to Syria and Lebanon. Earlier in the day, President al-Assad received at al-Rawda palace the secretary general of the Syrian - Lebanese higher council Nasri al-Khaouri.

Discussions dealt with issues relating to work and activities of the Syrian- Lebanese higher council and work progress in ongoing projects between the two states and obstacles impeding them.
