Meeting in cairo to fight trans-border crime

Originally published

Arab Juridical experts started in Cairo Monday a meeting to discuss a draft inter-Arab agreement on trans-border crime fighting.

During the three-day meeting, the experts will study the draft in light of remarks made by Arab states, said head of the Arab-League juridical department, Redouane Ben Khadra.

They will devise the accord's final version, which will be submitted to the coming session of Arab justice ministers, due early next year.

The project seeks to foster inter-Arab cooperation and coordination in the realms of justice and security to face up trans-border crime.
