Mubarak gets message from Kuwaiti Emir

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak yesterday got a message from Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah of Kuwait on the regional scene and bilateral ties. The message was handed by Kuwaiti Minister of State for Foreign Affairs during a meeting with the Egyptian leader.

The letter was part of constant consultations between the two countries over the mounting tensions resulting from Israel's sweeping incursions into the Palestinian self-controlled areas. The Kuwaiti official later in the day left Cairo following a short visit.
