Originally published

Morocco will take part in the 52nd Economic Forum for Africa, to be held Monday in Hamburg (northern Germany), with the participation of Maghreban countries, Sudan, and some 300 German companies.

The two-day forum, organized by Afrika Verein Association in collaboration with the German Industrial Federation, will be held under the theme "Business and Investment Opportunities in the Environment and Natural Resources Protection Programs in North Africa."

Minister of territory planning, urbanism, housing and environment, Mohammed Yazghi, who will be leading the Moroccan delegation, will make a presentation on Morocco's projects and programs in the field of environment and natural resources protection, especially those related to water supply and sanitation, refuse recycling, and renewable energies.

Direct meetings between Maghreban delegations and German companies executives are scheduled for the second day of the forum.

Afrika Verein, founded more than a century ago in Hamburg, seeks to promote Germany's foreign trade with Africa and back Africa-oriented German companies and institutions.
