Moroccan businessman donates $500,000 to Palestinian people
A Moroccan businessman, who asked not be identified, donated Tuesday $500,000 to the Palestinian people.
Palestinian ambassador to Rabat, Abu Marwane, who was handed the check, said the initiative is part of the Moroccans' expressions of solidarity with their Palestinian brothers.
The March staged Sunday in Rabat is a clear evidence to such solidarity, which was visible on the face of king Mohammed VI during his meeting with U.S. secretary of state Colin Powell, Abu Marwane said.
As he was receiving the US official, the sovereign was bearing a sticker that read "We Are All Palestinians" displaying a picture of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
