Arabs prepare for first economic congress

Arab League Secretary-General, Amr Moussa, is currently preparing for the holding of the first Arab economic congress next June 16-18, the League's spokesman announced.

The congress will seek to favor the integration of Arab economies in the global economy, the spokesman said.

Challenges facing Arab economies, development and investment policies in the Arab region and means to upgrade new information technologies are among the major items on the congress' agenda.
