Arab Commerce Ministers Convene in Kuwait Tuesday
Arab ministers of commerce and industry hold a conference in Kuwait this Tuesday on Arab states and the World Trade Organization (WTO), Kuwait's commerce and industry minister, Salah Khorsheed, told KUNA Monday.
He said the second consultative ministerial conference will discuss notifying the WTO with the Arab states' intention to establish the greater Arab free market zone in 2005. It will also inform the international Organization about the wish of some Arab countries to be active members in it, he said.
The conference will also review the results of the recent WTO meeting held in Doha, particularly on the issues dealing with agriculture.
