Originally published

In a meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali the Tunisian Cabinet discussed the draft law pertinent to "terrorist crimes and resisting international terrorism," according to an official Tunisian source.

The same source said that this draft law " falls in the context of the world attempt aiming at following up terrorist crimes and challenging the phenomenon of international terrorism ( but gave no further details)."

Tunisia was the 6th state member in the African Unity organization which has ratified the agreement of protecting from terrorism and resisting it, according to a statement made by the African Unity Organization in December 2001.
