Bin Ali confers with Arab League assistant secretary general

Tunisia's President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali on Thursday met with the Arab League AL assistant secretary general Nour Eddine Hashad, who is the chief of Tunisia's office of the AL.

President Bin Ali reviewed with Hashad several Arab and international issues, especially developments in the Middle East region and efforts made to revitalize the ME peace process and the return back of the Israeli and Palestinian sides to the table of talks.

Meantime and according to the Tunisian News Agency Bin Ali also met on Thursday evening with his foreign minister al- Habib Bin Yahya and the two discussed the program of the Tunisian diplomacy moves during the coming phase. Bin Ali stressed Tunisia's firm position in support of the legitimate Palestinian right and its support to the initiatives aiming at revitalizing the march of peace and return back to the table of negotiations.
