Solana describes his visit to the ME as very important
The higher representative of the foreign policy of the European Union Javier Solana has described his visit to the region as very important and an opportunity to exchange views relating to the future of the region as well as exerting possible efforts to re-set back the peace process into its right track.
In an exclusive statement to the Jordanian daily al-Dostour issued on Wednesday, Solana said he had met with Arafat and discussed with him current developments, noting that the few coming days will witness Palestinian- Israeli security meetings that will conclude positive results.
