Turkey to host Islamic- European foreign ministers joint conference
It was announced in Ankara on Monday that Istanbul will host on February 12, 2002 the joint conference for the foreign ministers of the European Union member states and the foreign ministers of member states at the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
The Turkish Ikhlas News agency said that the conference which will be held in response to the proposal made by the Turkish government will discuss current political incidents developments in light of the war launched by the US in Afghanistan.
