More Israeli landmines dismantled from South Lebanon

Lebanese army sources reported that until Thursday ( December 13, some 34206 anti personnel and vehicles mines and 51768 shelling of various caliber were removed and dismantled from the highways in the areas of south Lebanon and the Western Bekaa.

The sources added that an area of 3400,00 square meters of various south Lebanon area were cleaned out of mines. Meantime, the national office for dismantling mines has organized an anti orientation campaign on the danger of mines in the villages of south Lebanon and the Western Bekaa as organized.

On the other hand, the Lebanese national resistance sources said that some 25 air violations by the Israeli war-planes were recorded during the week extended from December 4 through 10.

The sources said that total number of the Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty since June 2000 until December 10 of this year 2000 reached 3346 violations.
