Israel denies news to hand over al-Ghajar village to Lebanon

The Israeli Brig Nassim Maer has denied news which said that Israel intends to hand over the border village of al-Ghajar to the Lebanese sovereignty.

In an interview with the Israeli radio on Wednesday, Maer said that Israel does not intend to change the position of this village. He explained that installing " the security fence " in the Israeli side was made for security considerations and to prevent the leakage of members of the Hizbullah party through the said village. Maer added that the installed " security fence " will contribute to preserving the security of the people of the " security fence will serve the security of the village and serve their interests also."
