King Mohammed distributes iftar meals for the poor

King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid, chaired Wednesday here the distribution of iftar meals to the poor.

Part of the operation, launched by the Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation, some 1,850 meals are distributed daily during the fasting month of Ramadan in the wilaya of Fez.

The king laid the same day the foundation stone for the construction of two dorms for students in fez.

A 120-bed female dorm will cost four million dirhams, nearly $ 347,826 and will be built over 600 square meters.

The second 170-bed male dorm will cost 8.45 million dirhams, nearly $ 734,782.
