Sharon confers with Solana

The EU envoy for the Middle East Javier Solana on Tuesday in Jerusalem met with the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon. The Israeli Hebrew language radio said that Solana and Sharon discussed current issues in the ME. Solana, later in the day, also met with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat and with the American envoy Gen. Anthony Zinni.
